Mindful Pace

I’m Sass (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Certified Yoga Instructor, Ontario Certified Teacher, personal trainer & group fitness instructor, and current medical student at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. My path to psychotherapy has been anything but linear—and that’s part of what makes it meaningful. Before becoming a therapist, I spent seven years in the classroom as a high school teacher, where I learned the value of connection, patience, and meeting people where they are. As a personal trainer, I witnessed the powerful link between physical movement and mental well-being. And through my own mental health journey, I’ve come to deeply believe that healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about learning to move forward with compassion and awareness.
